Like they just won 70 games, which was special, but at the end of the day, winning a championship was still the ultimate goal. But somehow, these days, making it to the Finals alone is good enough. Fans are so accustomed to their favorite player(s) losing that suddenly, rings don't matter anymore, so long as you put up stats. Suddenly, everything else is more important than actually winning it all.

LeBron absolutely dominates Jordan in almost every statistical category. LeBron's teams won 1st place 4 times and 2nd place 6 times. MJ's teams won 1st place 6 times and never got close again. LeBron is a better shooter, 3pt shooter, passer, rebounder, basketball IQ, and big man defender than MJ. MJ is a better perimeter defender and is ever so slightly more competitive than LeBron. Having 2 more championships in a team sport doesn't bridge the massive gap otherwise created between #1 LeBron and #2 MJ.
